It’s not uncommon for me to see debate on whether or not Charlie Sheen can be called a good actor. He has his fans, but I’ve never cared for him and today didn’t help his case.
Today, I ran across a little news article revealing some of Charlie’s domestic antics – and they’re none too flattering.
Charlie, or should I say Carlos Irwin Estevez since that is his real name, was arrested on Christmas Day after a 911 call brought Aspen police to his home on 320 West Hallam Street. He was charged with felony second-degree assault, felony menacing and criminal mischief. An ambulance was called to the scene, but Charlie’s victim didn’t need hospitalization.
The victim is not named, but as this is a domestic assault charge, it makes me think that perhaps Sheen attacked his current wife, Brooke Mueller. The whys are not answered on the reasons Sheen turned to violence, but regardless, it sure doesn’t help his image.
As I said, I’ve always kind of thought Sheen was a bit of a jerk. All he’s done now is prove it.
UPDATE(12/29): Today the 911 call has been released. My previous supposition that Sheen had attacked his wife, Brooke, was correct. Apparently the jerk pulled a knife on her and threatened her with it. All right in front of family.
